PE

PE at home!

Stretch and warm up.

What stretches do you know?

Move down the body. neck rolls – shoulder rolls – arm circles – side bends (try to reach/pass the knee) – toe touches.

Can you teach any grown ups at home some stretches?

Warm up - 5 star jumps, 4 hops, 3 seconds of running on the spot, 2 burpees and 1 press up.

Can you make your own 5-1 warm up challenge?

We are going to need the ball of socks again. Practice throwing and catching them. Throwing them higher to challenge ourselves.

Can we get a partner and practice throwing and catching them between 2 or more people? If not, can we throw a ball (or the socks) against a wall and try catching it?

Make a goal (using any 2 objects as posts). Throw the ball into the goal. If you have a partner, take turns having someone as a goal keeper). We need to throw it into a space that's open to score a goal. If on our own, change the size of the goal to make it easier or harder and get further away to score.

Finish off - Can you throw a teabag into a mug so your grownups can have a cup of tea?
