Kyra Children's Council

St. Faith's Infants is very proud to be a member of the Kyra Children's Council made up of School Councils from many different schools in Lincolnshire. The Kyra Children's Council meets up each term visiting different schools.

School Council 2016-2017

Welcome to our new School Councillors. The Year Two children have the challenging task this year of leading the council meetings. The first important task is to meet and devise an action plan for the Autumn term. The School Council will then be asked to share their classes ideas with Mrs Barkes.and to invite a School Governor along to a meeting to share their ideas

Kyra School Council Meeting 11.11.2016 Carlton Academy

The Year 2 School Councillors attended the School Council meeting at Carlton Academy with other school's in the Kyra partnership. The children had a fantastic time learning how to play different musical instruments with Fidler Music.

School Council Christmas Card Competition 2016

Congratulations to our winner! Your card design has been used by Miss White this Christmas to send to friends of St. Faith's. Well done to our three runners up. We hope you enjoy your creative prizes. Thank you to Mr McCracken, one of our school governors for judging the competition. 

School Council 2015-2016

The children in each class have elected two new School Councillors for 2015-2016. We meet each week on a Wednesday with Mrs Elwell. Our role is to ensure that pupil voice is not only listened to by members of our school council but shared with our senior leaders, our school governors, friends of the school and the Kyra Children's Council. We all work together as a team to enable St. Faith's school improvement. Watch this space for more information...
