“Our inclusive St Faith’s family strives to enable all to achieve their full potential and inspire a community of hope and friendship. We seek excellence by ensuring a safe, respectful and flourishing learning community, where differences are celebrated and our genuine love and high expectations make a difference to all.” “Aspire not to have more, but to be more.” (Oscar Romero)
This week we are thinking all about our favourite story!
Day 1: Telling your favourite story
Can you share your chosen story with an adult and then can you tell it to your toys?
Day 2: Retell your favourite story
Using different objects to act as the characters can you retell your favourite story?
Day 3: Story map
Can you draw your story as a story map, showing what happens at the beginning, in the middle and at the end?
Day 4: A new front cover
Can you design a new front cover for your favourite story? Don’t forget to include the title of the story, you can copy this from your book.
Day 5: What do the characters say!
Can you think about your favourite character in the story and what they say? Try writing this down. You made use marks to represent your words or some initial sounds. As long as you can read it that is all that matters! Remember to show us your home learning on tapestry!
