“Our inclusive St Faith’s family strives to enable all to achieve their full potential and inspire a community of hope and friendship. We seek excellence by ensuring a safe, respectful and flourishing learning community, where differences are celebrated and our genuine love and high expectations make a difference to all.” “Aspire not to have more, but to be more.” (Oscar Romero)
This week we are thinking all about the story of the Gruffalo. If you don’t have this story you will find it on you tube or the film on BBC iplayer.
Day 1: The Gruffalo story
Enjoy it together and talk about the best parts and any parts you did not like.
Day 2: Name, label and describe the characters
Day 3: Retell the story
Day 4: You are now going to be the Gruffalo!
Can you write like the Gruffalo would?
Day 5: Design you own monster!
What features will your monster have? How will it be different to the Gruffalo?
Final Gruffalo challenge: Can you make a home for the Gruffalo? You may choose to use blankets so can get in, or junk modelling or Lego. It is your choice!
Don't forget to show us your learning and what you have been doing all week on Tapestry.
