The Fireflies

We are delighted to be able to provide our fabulous wraparound care, The Fireflies. This is a breakfast club and after school provision. This runs every school day, from 7.30am until 5.55pm, for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

The Fireflies Breakfast Club

The Fireflies Breakfast Club starts every day at 7.30am. It ends at the start of the school day, at 8.55am.

The children can arrive any time after 7.30am. On arrival, they enjoy playing with their friends and the staff. They help themselves to their breakfast, serving themselves and then washing up and clearing up when they have finished. Breakfast is served until 8.25am.

Breakfast is a healthy choice and is different each day, ranging from crumpets and toast to a range of healthy cereal. Milk and water are available every day.

The Fireflies After School Provision

The after school provision is from 3.30pm until 5.55pm. There are a range of activities for the children to choose from, including dinosaurs, role play, drawing and creating. They also spend a lot of time outdoors, playing team games and getting rid of excess energy!

Food is provided and is served between 4.30pm and 4.50pm. Food includes sandwiches and wraps, sausage rolls and a selection of fruit.

Vegetarian and gluten free options are available. The food is provided by Good Lookin Cookin and meets all food standards.

We ask that you arrive promptly to collect your child at 5.55pm at the latest, to ensure we can close at 6pm.
