The teachers in the Caterpillars class are Mrs Walton (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning), Mrs Talbot (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday). The teaching assistants are Miss Goldacre and Mrs Taylor. We love teaching the Caterpillars and we are so proud of all of their achievements!
If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you!
Our Christian value this term is ‘Justice.’
Justice means giving all people what it is right and fair for them to have: life, health, freedom and dignity. It is about acting out of a concern for what is right.
When we think about justice, we also think about the British Value of Tolerance and Mutual Respect and Democracy.
Deuteronomy 16:20: Follow justice and justice alone.
*Our Learning for this term*
This term our focus is Under the Sea, and we will learn about stories such as Commotion in the Ocean, Snail Mail, The Singing Mermaid along with others too. As we listen and enjoy each story we will have focussed activities linked to the areas of the Early Years Framework.
We continue with our pre writing program Squiggle While You Wiggle and support our children moving to Reception in September with phonics too.
On Monday 29th June we will be celebrating International Mud Day which will be lots of fun!
We have Sport's Day to look forward to on 8th July.
One of our biggest themes of this term will be preparing the children for their transition to Reception. There will be lots of opportunities to talk about moving to our new classes and spending time getting to know our new teachers.
