Autumn 2

Autumn 2

The weather is getting colder, the days are getting shorter and the Butterflies are getting busier. We had an amazing start to the year and looking forward to the next half term. This half term we are continuing to develop our love of reading and songs, learning and sharing a new one every week.

Our shared reading will start with the Owl Babies and we cant wait to find out more about woodland animals. This will also help us with our next Talk for Writing story - The Baby Mouse. It is another brilliant story and one that was written by Pi Corbett. We are looking forward to innovating this story to make it our own just like we created The Marshmallow Man this term (based on the Gingerbread Man).

In Maths we are continuing to develop our problem solving skills learning all about number, calculations, shapes and measures. We love to apply what we learn to our own problems and in our play.

Alongside all of this, we are learning about our environment and having fun - sharing, being with our friends and being amazing every day!
