Service in the Community
Our school value for this half term is 'Service in the Community.' We are learning all about what service means to us in our St Faith's family. We are finding out how we can show service to others, not only in our St Faith's family but beyond. If someone shows kindness and a willingness to serve others in need, to go that 'extra mile' to help others out, they are showing service to that person. We will understand why it is so important to show service to others.
All of the children and adults in school will be recognising children who show wonderful service in the community.
This is rewarded and celebrated at the end of term in our special Values Celebration Worship.
Secretes of the sea
Ahoy there me hearties! Our new topic this term is secretes of the sea. Over the term the children will be exploring the fantastic creatures living below the waves in the seas and oceans around the world. Mixing in lots of geography, scientific enquiry and discussion this term will see the children get hands on with what makes a fish a fish and how their bodies help them to survive and thrive. With exciting art lesson and a whole week dedicated to pirates at sea. Its sure to be a memorable term.
