Welcome to the Beetles!
The grown-ups in the Beetles class are Miss Murphy, Mrs De'Ath and Mrs Soulsby.
We all love teaching the Beetles and we are so proud of their achievements!
If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you!
Our school value for this half term is 'Compassion.' We are learning all about what compassion means to us in our St Faith's family. We are finding out how we can show compassion to others, not only in our St Faith's family but beyond. If someone shows kindness and a willingness to help others, especially when the person needs it, they are showing compassion for that person. We will understand why it is so important to be compassionate.
All of the children and adults in school will be recognising children who show wonderful compassion.
This is rewarded and celebrated at the end of term in our special Values Celebration Worship.
We love learning in the Beetles!
This spring half term we are learning about 'Living in an Icy World'! From the Arctic to the Antarctic, we are really excited to learn about the ways in which animals and people adapt to live in frozen parts of the world. We are exploring this through icy investigations, maps of the world, Polar stories, Artic animal craft, documentary clips, den and igloo building and role-play!
In addition to this we are continuing to follow our children's interests by highlighting different areas of focus for the new term! So even though it may be cold outside, we are making the cold fun in Beetles classroom!
Keep updated with our learning and our news!
