Our Christian Values and Aims

Our Values and Aims

Values are deeply held beliefs that underpin and influence behaviour and actions. As a Church of England Infant and Nursery School, our values are firmly rooted in Christian values and traditions. Below are our values:

Aims are what the school seeks to achieve. They reflect its values and vision. Our aims are:

To create a welcoming, happy, safe and secure working environment.

To develop in our children an interest, enjoyment and enthusiasm for life long learning.

To provide a broad and balanced curriculum that is stimulating, challenging and creative and prepares children to become informed, active and responsible citizens.

To promote high standards of behaviour which fosters a feeling of self worth and an awareness of responsibilities to our self, each other and the environment.

To foster strong relationships with parents and the local community through open communication, partnerships and team work.

To appreciate the skills, talents and individuality of every child, while celebrating the cultural diversity and heritage of all.

We believe that all children and members of the school and its communities matter greatly. Therefore we strive to ensure that they are given the maximum possible support and encouragement to gain the knowledge, skills, concepts, understanding and positive attitude that will enable them to develop successfully. We seek to give all children opportunities for achievement and success through a variety of first hand experiences and an exciting curriculum. We also aim to provide a stimulating, happy, safe and secure environment in order to nurture academic, social, spiritual, emotional, cultural and physical growth within a Christian ethos.
