How is the school’s SEND budget used?
The budget for SEND varies from year to year. The school governors look at this budget annually and plan how it is to be used to benefit all the children on the SEND register.
The funding is usually divided up between TA support, resources and training.
If children have been assessed as having higher level complex needs, they may have access to additional funding from the Local Authority to help meet those needs. This will be applied for by the SENDCo through the EHCP process.
