Welcome to our website. Our school is open to our wonderful key worker children and vulnerable children, Nursery and Reception. You may still contact the school in the usual way. Stay safe.

School Council

Our School Council are voted for by their class mates. They explain why they are interested in being a member of the School Council and then a secret vote is held. There are 2 School Councillors for every class, from Reception to Year 2. Nursery do not elect Councillors but we always ask for the opinions on things that we do.

We are very proud of the work that the School Councillors do in school.

The children in the School Council work with Mrs Konrath and meet regularly, either as a whole Council or in year groups. We will keep you updated on their projects and achievements throughout the year.

This year our focus is the reduction of single-use plastics. We have registered with Surfers Against Sewerage and Plastic Free Lincoln.

Meeting Lucinda

Our Year 2 School Councillors really enjoyed meeting Lucinda on 15th November. Lucinda is a Councillor in real life!

The children asked some fabulous questions, for example 'What do you do as a Councillor?' 'Do you like going to meetings?' 'Do you have to work at night?' 'Do you have any pets?' 'What is your other job when you are not a Councillor?'

Lucinda also asked the children lots of questions about their role in school. They were so good at answering the questions.

Lucinda also talked to the children about democracy and a manifesto, when they were explaining our system for voting for School Council.

Thank you so much, Lucinda, for visiting us and spending time away from your lovely baby boy.

Autumn term 2018

This term the School Councillors decided to hold a toy and book sale, to raise money to buy new board games for our classes and for the Fireflies, our wraparound care. The sale was held on 28th November and raised an incredible £208. We can't wait to buy the board games!

Spring Term 2019

Our focus for this term is parking! The children will be launching a poster competition to encourage safe parking and walking to school! Watch this space!
