Parental Involvement

How are parents involved in their child’s learning at school?

Parental involvement is central to our values at St Faith’s Church of England Infant and Nursery School. If your child is on our SEND register, the class teacher and the SENDCO will meet with you 3 times a year to discuss your child’s welfare, targets and progress. This is in addition to the usual parents’ evenings for all children. Included in the discussion will be what you might be able to do to support key skills and targets at home.

The school has an ‘open door’ policy, where you may request and meet staff more regularly if you need to. Parents are regularly invited into school to celebrate their child’s activities and achievements through events such as school performances, school fairs and Christmas services.
